History

Established in 2009.
Asian Cafe Thai is owned by a Husband and Wife. They started off with a Video Store and small Cafe (NS Video&Asian Deli) and switched to a complete Restaurant within the pass three years. The name has since been changed to Asian Cafe Thai. The Art work on the walls were done by the Husband, and the woodwork was done by the brother of the Husband. Most of the cooking is done by the Wife and her sister-in-law.

Owner

Cook, Waitress, Wife, Friend, Oldest Sister, and Business Owner, Mannewan also known as Diane. Mannewan and Sak S. (Co-Owner) have been Business partners and Partners in Life for going on 17 years. Mannewan is fluent in many languages, (Lao, Thai, Japanese) Just to name a few. Her Parents also owned a restaurant, so Asian Cafe Thai is nothing new to this hard worker.

  I love, love, love this place. I always get the thai boat noodles and it is divine. I think there's crack in it (just kidding!!), cuz I crave it all the time. I love the crunchy pork rinds and chinese broccoli in the dish. My kids get the sticky rice and pho noodle soup.

  We received two word of mouth recommendations about the Seafood Pho here so we had to check it out. Short story: it is very good. The place was (or may still be) some sort of video rental business. Lots of dusty DVD copying equipment on one side of the room and a clean little restaurant setting on the other. A couple large flat screens playing Korean music videos and Japanese anime posters on the walls.

  I have come here 3 times in the last 2 months and each time has been good. I've have come with friends from Thailand so have been clued in on what things are. Had the Som Tam (papaya salad ordered 'medium'). It was very spicy to me but they thought not hot enough. They love this place. I think it is a little more 'pricey' compared to other neighborhood asian restaurants, but again the food is good & portions decent.
